Everybody’s Favorite Cheese Sauce Recipe
Prep & cook time: 10 mins. (8 servings)
YOUR LOCAL FRESH SHOPPING LIST:
- 2 scoops Spitfire Gourmet Bougie Bouillon
- 1/3 cup Dry Vermouth Wine (found at any liquor store)
- 6 oz. Cream Cheese (or any soft cheese like brie or even Velveeta works great)
- 6 oz. grated Sharp Cheddar (or any sharp cheese like aged swiss or parmesan)
- 2 cups Half & Half
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a sauce pan on low heat, whisk the Spitfire Gourmet Bougie Bouillon packet into Dry Vermouth Wine, and then stir in Half & Half, Cream Cheese, and shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese until blended & warm. (Yields 3 cups sauce.)
Make it a full meal… Toss with 16 oz. cooked Pasta. Add cooked Wild Bird or Chicken and 16 oz. frozen Peas, and bake at 375° uncovered for 15 mins. (Serves 8, or have awesome leftovers!)
